Details....the island was made with an antique window, barn wood, an old door as a shelf...wonderful!
kept the floor "au naturel", concrete with a wet gloss finish...3 coats!
Use of our dining room table as our kitchen table. This house has no real formal dining that's OK, I was able to display my collection of vases with handles above the kitchen cabinets
Shinny subway tiles, looks great with the black granit and I picked a grey grout, nice clean look.
